Offices and Shops Ventilation for Volta 1 Renovation in Tallinn, EstoniaThe Volta 1 building was renovated in 2021, and the challenges were that there were not enough energy sources (non-electric and non-heating energy) and no space inside the building. All units are built on the roof and have integrated heat pumps with reversible solutions. By cooling in the summer and heating in the winter with a single heat pump system, efficiency is secured by the smart algorithm that avoids defrosting and uses bypass systems to work against each other.
