REGENERATIVE SOLUTIONS

SKW Ruar

The Runaround System is an ideal solution for laboratories and hospitals that require recirculation of exhaust air and supply air with constant mixing of outdoor air while meeting ErP regulations.

This system has a big advantage in renovation projects where the return air duct and supply air duct are not in one room, and both units can be placed separately in the building and connected with pipes. With a controllable heat pump, it enables energy recovery from the exhaust air, while a variable outside air volume flow allows for dehumidification with constant exhaust air and supply air volume flow at the same time. The heating register reheats the supply air with low flow and return temperatures, and temperature and humidity control provide superior air quality.

Runaround coil heat exchanger can be used on projects with a high thermal load (industrial) or a high hygienic demand(hospitals).

Supply and Extraction modules may be situated on distance.

Air Recirculation and Heat Recovery System for Labs and Hospitals

SKW Ruar

Efficient air exchange is crucial for maintaining a safe and hygienic environment in laboratory and hospital settings. However, traditional air exchange systems can be limited in their ability to meet the unique demands of these facilities. The Runaround System, developed by Skawen, provides an innovative solution that offers unparalleled performance, flexibility, and compliance with regulations. In this article, we will explore the benefits of using the Runaround System in laboratory and hospital settings, including its efficiency, flexibility, and compliance with regulations.

Explanation of the Runaround System

The Runaround System is an air exchange solution that provides constant mixing of outdoor air while preventing the return air from entering the supply air. This system is especially beneficial for laboratories and hospitals that require recirculation of exhaust air and supply air without the return air going into the supply air. The Runaround System is equipped with a controllable heat pump, which enables energy recovery from the exhaust air. Additionally, a variable outside air volume flow allows for dehumidification with constant exhaust air and supply air volume flow at the same time.

Advantages of Using the Runaround System

The Runaround System offers several advantages over traditional air exchange systems. One of the standout features of the Runaround System is its flexibility. It can be used in renovation projects where return air duct and supply air duct are not in one room. The supply and extraction modules may be situated on distance, allowing you to design your system according to your specific needs. This makes the Runaround System an ideal solution for facilities with complex layouts and limited space.

Preventing Return Air from Entering Supply Air

In laboratory and hospital settings, it is essential to prevent return air from entering the supply air to maintain optimal air quality. The Runaround System prevents this by recirculating exhaust air and supply air with constant mixing of outdoor air. This ensures that the air in the facility is always fresh and hygienic, reducing the risk of airborne infections and illnesses.

Ideal for Renovation Projects

Renovating buildings with separate return air ducts and supply air ducts can be challenging. However, the Runaround System offers an ideal solution for these projects. The system can be installed separately in the building, and the supply and extraction modules may be situated on distance, allowing for a customized solution that meets your specific needs. This makes the Runaround System a cost-effective and efficient option for renovation projects.

Compliant with ErP Regulations

Energy-related Products (ErP) regulations are designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Compliance with these regulations is essential for any air exchange system. The Runaround System meets all ErP regulations, ensuring that your facility is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.

Suitable for Various Facilities Different facilities have unique requirements when it comes to air exchange systems. The Runaround System can be adapted to various facilities, including large offices, hospitals with standard and high hygienic demands, and industrial settings. The system’s flexibility and customization options make it an ideal solution for facilities of all sizes and types.

The Runaround Coil Heat Exchanger

The Runaround Coil Heat Exchanger is a key component of the Runaround System. It can be used in projects with a high thermal load, such as industrial facilities, or in facilities with high hygienic demands, such as hospitals. The Runaround Coil Heat Exchanger provides superior energy recovery and ensures that the supply air is reheated with low flow and return temperatures, making the system highly energy-efficient.

Flexible Distance and Easy Installation

The Runaround System’s flexible distance and easy installation make it a practical and cost-effective option for facilities of all types. The system’s supply and extraction modules may be situated on distance, allowing for a customized
