Welcoming our Belgian & Luxembourg partners to Skawen
A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of hosting Semahat Baser and a group of installers, customers, and project partners from Belgium and Luxembourg at the SKAWEN factory.
The goal of the visit was simple: to show how our AHUs are actually built — by hand, piece by piece, fully customised, and with a level of craftsmanship that most visitors don’t expect.
During the tour, the group explored the entire production flow, saw several ongoing projects, and got a closer look at our R290 and multi-family housing solutions. The customised SKW GREY water units and the special climate chamber built for Tallinn University were among the highlights.
What stood out the most?
The same thing we hear again and again — the robustness and build quality. Many were surprised by the leight weight and solidity of the components, and by how much of the process is done manually rather than through industrial mass production.
The visit also sparked several new discussions around ongoing collaborative projects, some of which are already moving forward.
We’re grateful to Semahat for bringing such a motivated and curious group to our factory.
It was a great day and a reminder of how important real, in-person manufacturing insight is in our industry.
