Skawen Enters Norway at VVS-dagene 2026
Skawen is entering the Norwegian market and will present its air handling solutions at VVS-dagene 2026 in Lillestrøm, Norway. From 14 to 16 October, visitors can meet the Skawen team and explore demonstration equipment at stand D01-07.
Skawen develops and manufactures air handling units for conventional buildings as well as technically demanding applications where durability, installation flexibility and long service life are essential.
Composite-cased air handling units for demanding environments
A central part of Skawen’s air handling solutions is the company’s proprietary composite casing.
The construction is robust and corrosion-resistant, with strong thermal and mechanical properties. It can also be up to 30 percent lighter than traditional air handling unit casing solutions.
These characteristics make Skawen air handling units suitable for swimming pools, industrial facilities, renovation projects and other buildings where ventilation equipment must perform reliably under demanding conditions. Potential offshore applications are also of interest, particularly when weight, available space, operating conditions and service life affect equipment selection.
Flexible transport and on-site assembly
The lower weight can provide practical advantages during transportation and lifting. It is also valuable in renovation projects and existing buildings where structural load limitations must be considered.
Skawen units can be supplied in sections and assembled on site. This provides an important alternative when restricted access, narrow doorways or difficult technical-room locations make it impossible to bring in a fully assembled air handling unit.
The robust casing construction has also been developed with long-term operation in mind. A longer service life can help building owners reduce the need for premature equipment replacement and support more sustainable investment decisions.
Building a long-term presence in Norway
Skawen has already established a presence in several European markets. Norway is the company’s next step, with VVS-dagene marking the launch of its Norwegian market initiative.
Skawen is also interested in establishing cooperation with local sales partners, including agents and distributors, to build a strong and long-term presence in Norway.
“Norway is an exciting market for Skawen. There is a high level of technical expertise and many projects where stringent requirements are placed on performance, quality and flexibility. We look forward to meeting the Norwegian HVAC industry and demonstrating what we can offer,” says Sten Mogard, Co-founder at Skawen.
